How many does the cottage sleep?

Boondocks Bungalow sleeps a maximum of 6 guests. This is a 3 bedroom cottage with 1 Queen, 1 Full, and 1 Twin Trundle bed. We do not have a pull-out couch.

How many bathrooms?

There are 2 full bathrooms both with shower/tub, linens are provided for the number of registered guests per number of days.

Is there a land-line? Is there cell phone coverage?

We have a satellite phone available at the cottage, we will provide you the phone number to the cottage upon check-in. Please note, this is not a landline, if the satellite goes out so will the phone. You will not have cell coverage here, unless you have Sprint.

Do you have a TV and satellite? 

We have one TV with DirecTV available at the cottage, there is also a library of DVD's available to watch. The DVD player is behind the TV. We also have provided books, games, and puzzles in the tall cabinet below the DVD's.

Do you have WiFi?

We have WiFi available at the cottage for an additional fee. You can add the WiFi package at checkout. We will provide you with the WiFi password upon check-in.

Do you have a full kitchen? 

Our kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee machine (both Keurig and pot). There is also plenty of silverware, plates, cups, bowls for the maximum 6 guests. Please note, coffee, food, drinks, etc. are not provided unless you've purchased a package which includes these items.

Do you have a fireplace? 

We have a wood-burning stove which is only to be used September 15-May 15. We also have firewood available for an additional fee, you can add the firewood package at checkout. You are welcome to gather your own firewood around the property. However, if you use the firewood provided on the front porch you will be charged $9.99 unless the firewood package was already paid for at the time of reservation. ​

Is this a non-smoking cottage?

Boondocks Bungalow is a non-smoking cottage. No smoking is permitted inside or on the grounds. If cigarette butts, cigarette packs, or cigarette cartons are found anywhere on the property, inside or outside, a $250.00 smoking fee will be charged.

Is the cottage for families with kids or just for couples? 

Both! Our cottage is perfect for families with kids, or groups of friends with plenty of space for all. It is also perfect for couples to enjoy; Boondocks Bungalow is a quiet, secluded cottage surrounded by woods. 

​

Do you have a high chair or pack 'n play?

Yes! For families with little ones we provide a high chair and a pack 'n play. These are located in the front closet. 

​

Do you allow pets? 

We're sorry we do not allow pets at the cottage, many people are allergic to pet dander (including us). If evidence of a pet is found on the property, whether inside or outside, the $250.00 pet fee will be charged. Thank you for understanding.

Do you have a hot tub? 

Yes! Our hot tub overlooks our catch and release pond. The temperature is set to 80° and can easily be turned up to 100°-104° upon your arrival. The temperature can easily be turned up just pushing the temperature button. The cover of the hot tub is unlocked and should easily lift and tilt back. When you are done using the hot tub, please replace the cover. If you need beach towels for the hot tub, they are in the front closet. Please do not take the bathroom towels outside. More directions for the hot tub and rules for the hot tub are located outside, as well as, in the front closet with the hot tub towels.
